Our back catalogue of work is available to commission. All our sculptural ceramics are hand built and therefore each piece is original. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. All work is stamped with PENTIMENTO.

ELEPHANTS are made in a range of sizes, from approximately 10cm to 40 cm tall and are generally finished in either cobalt blue, manganese, or a matt black oxide to capture the texture of the clay (but we  have been known to produce a pink elephant or a purple hippo). Elephants can be purchased with or without its own pet mouse, decorated with either a velvet underglaze or a lustre. Elephants are fired to earthenware to preserve the colour of the oxides. 

Prices range from £35 to £200.

GOATS are made in 2 sizes and are fired to stoneware with oxide and a matt white glaze. Goats are priced at £75 and £145

PENGUINS are fired to stoneware with an oxide, matt white glaze and copper lustre. Prices range from £80 - £120

​

Once created, each Elephant, Goat and Penguin is given a name to reflect his or her unique personality. Names are only used once and highlighted in our well thumbed Dictionary of Names.

BIRDS are created as near to scale as possible and they slot onto a wooden plinth. A choice of wood is available, depending on what we have in stock at the time of purchase. All wood is sealed with beeswax. Blackbirds, Wrens and Bullfinches are fired to stoneware and blue tits are fired to earthenware.
